This service is provided by a highly experienced local Wellington veterinarian, who remains actively involved in clinical practice.
Through years of working with pets and families, it became very clear to him that animals are far more relaxed at home during their final moments. Being surrounded by familiar smells, favourite places, and loved ones allows pets to remain calm and comfortable.
However, most veterinary clinics are extremely busy, and it can be difficult for veterinarians to leave the clinic to provide home euthanasia services.
That is why we offer dedicated Friday home visits — to help families who would prefer their pet’s final moments to be peaceful and private at home.
Our approach is gentle, respectful, and unhurried.
Each visit includes sedation first, allowing your pet to relax deeply before the final step, ensuring a calm and dignified passing.
